"This student immigrated to the United States from Venezuela with his family just a few years ago and has already shown remarkable resilience and growth. Raised by a dedicated single mother who works tirelessly to provide for him, he has not had access to extracurricular opportunities because it has simply not been financially possible without support from programs like this. Despite these challenges, he has learned English and now speaks it fluently, demonstrating determination and a strong desire to succeed. He is an active, energetic child who has recently developed a strong interest in art and drawing, and he would greatly benefit from opportunities that allow him to explore and grow these talents. He consistently shows up with a bright, genuine smile, reflecting the love and support in his small but devoted family. At the same time, he would benefit from structured environments that help build confidence, strengthen social skills, and develop self-regulation, as well as access to positive male role models who can further support his growth.
